What the company actually said is that they had "initiated discussions with third parties to seek joint funding" and that the outcomes from these discussions were "anticipated by the end of the next quarter".
They have updated us in this quarter by saying that "evaluation by third parties is ongoing".
In other words, nothing has been finalised as yet, however, that is not to say that there won't be a positive outcome in the near future. Stating that they are "stringing shareholders along for a while" may be your interpretation, however, I personally have faith in management that they will secure JV funding for Maronan.
Time will tell. Hopefully, you have actually taken a position in the company before any trading halt announcement is made.
