We all know that the Lulo concession straddles the Lucapa Graben and that that geological setting is ideal for fertile kimberlites.
The other major depression which is less documented is the Cassanje depression, which runs in a diagonal direction to the Lucapa Graben, and is believed to have resulted from tectonic movement and erosion phenomena.
Well, the Cassanje East fault runs across the Lulo concession, and separates our two kimberlite provinces. The Cassanje South fault is well below our concession, hence, our western kimberlites, which are the focus of current evaluation, are situated in a unique environment of a double depression. I'm no geologist, but I do believe that the above geological events (including the Cacuilo river) had a profound impact on what we're seeing coming out of Lulo.
