Oh Tonio, why for art thou not listen (read) ha. At times my writings might seem as an attack or a bit Grrrr, but don't take it personally, I am far from perfect, but at times I do become frustrated because people it seems, can't help themselves by simply reading what the Bible says as a hole = rightfully dividing God's word as we are expected to do. I suppose at times, I keep pushing my point and not giving up because, someone (Bowral) felt perhaps I was worth it and not gave up on me, even though at times, I must have peeved him off haha.
I know full well you haven't read up for yourself, or something (???) is stopping you, because if you had, you will most definitely sit back and go, Oh my gosh, how could this be or how did I not see the truth?
You should know, when we truly connect to ours above, you become part of the temple of God. I take it, that you fully understand this? One thing for sure when this happens, YOU will, with utmost certainty, never back away from insisting that God's truth can not and will not be compromised. Christ in no uncertain terms states, you WILL KNOW the truth when you find it. I hope you believe that. I don't know how best to describe it, I suppose it's like a heart transplant, if you remove it, your dead haha, but seriously, you know.
So then, ask yourself, what did God say he was going to send in the OLD TEST of which the prophets knew. A Prophet much like Moses for one, a Messenger and you know it was also going to be, God's Son. Emanuel = God with us. Yes he was with us in Christ as Christ received, John 4:24
God is a Spirit....... and that Spirit is the Holy Spirit and Christ
received it without measure. Christ was promised the Holy Spirit Acts 2:33 Part thereof -
and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost...... and this (Holy Ghost)
we now see and "hear". This was for all he had done and going to do. So clearly here, he didn't have it, he didn't leave it behind or emptied himself of it before coming. HE WAS PROMISED IT.
Now notice the, WE HEAR it, this is what I am trying to relay to you above, when you truly find the truth, ours above, YOU KNOW like you never thought possible. Trust me, it is different to what you now "think" you have.
Exactly what Christ had before he came, a Father Son relationship is pretty much "ALL" the Bible covers, so "I" will not add to or speculate as God is against that.
Christ was the "only begotten" "OF" The Father, so that is huge and special. As the Bible states, He is the Holy Child. In one verse it says, Holy Thing!!! We don't need an essay on thing, do we? Christ is also the
image of God.
So I ask again - would it not be easier to send yourself as a sacrifice as against sending - Your Precious Son? Who is downgrading the significance of the sacrifice = Wow!!! Some say, God didn't send his precious Son in the flesh and God says, they are Anti-Christ's. (If you say Christ is God, then this unquestionably, is what you are saying.
We the temple of God - What if God is dwelling in me - Are you listening, keep in mind the above
"we now see and hear".
Don't take this as me claiming to be special, as you would be distorting God's word or ignoring it.
John1:1
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Yes it was in the beginning, because if it wasn't, you wouldn't be reading this. So here is what was in the beginning
Acts 15:18 Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world. Notice how it says "ALL". If all was known unto God = it was all in his mind first and no one can argue this. The Word = we have thought, statement, speech and as you know, words describe things. And "God" said, "let there be light and guess what = there was light. Yep God's "very words" came out of him. They came about after his thought, he then created "His" Alpha Omega = letters for "His" words and that is why He and not Christ is the Alpha Omega, (the beginning of His words) he put those letters together in His Words and spoke, and it was done.
So John in 1:1 is putting "US" all in the picture as to whence and from whom all came. 1:1 He is saying, God and all his plans which came about by his Word and Spirit. God is a Spirit and that being, His Holy Spirit and his Word = inner self.
So God has put His inner self out there in the world as there is not "one" single thing in the world that is not linked to His Words and Spirit and hence we have confirmation of that in 1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon and our hands have handled, of the word of life. Gen 2: And the Lord formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life........ We know from God's word "ALL" life comes from The God our Father, and the eternal life following, comes from God through Christ.
John 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Warning = Deception prevails in some Bible's by adding "He" instead of "same" = Why would you change the entire meaning of "God's" Word??? Looks like the Angel of light to me?
So what John is doing here is - clarifying 1:1 or summarizing it by saying the
same (condenses it) - God and his plans and how those plans would come into being. John knew full well, all would have been up to speed with Genesis as in, let there be light etc, it was all by the word of God and his Spirit.
John message is fulfilling exactly what God planed, John was to prepare the way, the path for
"God" Mal 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger and he shall prepare the way
before me:........(God). John did exactly that, he prepared the way by giving insight as to how all came into being = God's Word and Spirit and by whom, and it was God that gave life and in God was no darkness at all, the way to God at first was baptism with water and later the Holy Spirit. While John was doing this he was telling of the one that was coming who was to bring the eternal life and the one that was to take over, (carry the banner) of the light into the world and as we know, Christ has completed that roll (not finished yet).
And then the Word flesh became = Flesh became and dwelt among us....... It was NOT the Word that came and dwelt it was the flesh of Jesus and with him, He brought God's Word. John 12:49 For I have not spoke of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say and what I should speak. John 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
So ask yourself, how did Christ become to be in Mary = God's thoughts, plan and through the Angel came "God's" Word. So how did Christ come into existence before this? The Bible doesn't really say but, it does say, Christ "was" the firstborn of "every" creature. The subject here is "clearly" creature, so that means exactly that, Christ is firstborn of these (Col 1:15) and Rev 3:14 Makes it clear, Christ was the first of God's creations. So logic leaves us with no other conclusion to say, Christ came about from the results of God, first thoughts, which as you know, when you think, you assign words to that thinking. God may not have spoken aloud the words to bring Christ into being, but he is God and wouldn't need to. But the inner words, "must" have gone through his mind = Same thing - Word of God produces results.
ODD = People quite quickly accept God spoke and Mary become with child and yet, can't digest accept that this same process is the obvious for Christ's beginning. Who or what, confuses man's mind to think such??? What The!!! (Bleepers ha).
So ask the question here or digest what Christ is saying, if you don't believe and adhere to every word Christ's says, you are not of God. = If you say Christ only said this while on earth, so it doesn't really mean this or that = WHO are you kidding and WHAT of Christ's word are you going to follow or dismiss, please tell me????
Does that not put wind up you?
All through the Old Test, God like a stuck record, keeps making the bold statement how He is God and yet NOT ONCE does Christ follow this theme = WHY.
Regarding John = Grasp this - if John was saying Christ is the word, why the Bleepers would he not mention Christ's name from the onset? In the beginning was Jesus....... He didn't because he was at first showing or repeating as in the OLD TEST and showing, The God, His Word, creator, the way to God, making the way for God and his plans which soon, Jesus was going to enter the world, so John followed exactly the Old TEST line and that being, kept Jesus as the mystery of God until 1:14.
Did John "ever" say the one coming was God = NOPE.
John1:14
14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Col2:9
9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily Godhead = Greatly admired or influential. And as we know, God's Spirit was in him. If you correctly connect, this same Spirit, comes in you, but trust me haha You are not God.
Phil2:6-8
6who, although He existed in the form of God, isn't this what you would expect being the image of?
did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. 8Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross Question as I take every word that Christ says on board - Did Christ Himself "ever" say he was equal to God. My Bible "never" says that, so can you please direct me to the verse where
he says this?
I have not found anything other than Christ asking for the "Glory" which he had when with the Father. Is there something of God's word I am missing in my Bible?
So here we have it Wotsup what you deny. The Word that is God and is with God but did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped , took flesh, emptied himself and became fully human as the Son of God, Jesus Christ, sacrificing himself willing on a cross to the glory of his Father and for our salvation
Thanks for your reply, once again peoples replies, makes me recheck/think and read and reaffirms Jesus's words that we don't need anyone to teach or lead us as he will teach us and "I" believe and are convinced of every word he says, is true.
So to all out there, if you imply "A" God or God's Son to The Word in John 1:1 you are effectively, slashing God open and ripping out a HUGE KEY inner part of him. (Guts) That being The Word which is him, was in him before anything came out of him, his thoughts, plans and the essence of God. People ask for the evidence of God, open thine eyes, you are seeing him, He is in you (life), your possibly sitting on it (seat) your house is from Him and so on.
All Christ's miracles where by the Power of God (God's Spirit).
At the end, we have God's Light and the Son is the Light shinning thereof "God's" Light.
It would seem, many have underscored The Light or not understood it?
We have God, His Word/inner Him and plans which was seen, heard and touched before Christ became flesh and Life = Light.
So if anyone wants to remove part of this (Word), count me out as you will not remove God's Word from within me.
