"Absolute BS . How many dwellings should we have available so the potential homeowner can pick and choose ."
Its is not about making dwellings available for homeowners to pick and choose. Its has always been about what the government is or isn't doing to prevent market distortions, and what vested interest do to prevent the things that need to be done to reduce market distortions.
If you think that statement -
"that for every dwelling an investor owns or buys it's one less dwelling a potential homeowner has a chance of owning or buying"
is "Absolute BS" how do you explain the shift in the level of dwelling ownership?

I guess if that forecast of lower home ownership eventuates - looks like you, simo and some others will be complaining even harder and for longer about renters being a burden on social security and society, might have to get ready to pay more taxes then..
