That was a very good rant!!! I think that I am now in the camp of the realists but I would not be content with 10 cents!!! 20-30 cents in the current environment would be an acceptable result for me.
You could end up being right to be a doubter but having come this far I want to see it to its end whatever eventuates. We seem so close to significant things happening ... although that has been the case for along time as you observe without there having been any resultant upside in the share price.
No doubt that the share price is disappointing but I don't blame executive options rather the low priced CR's, the miserable state of the oil market and sector, struggling majors and most deep water projects being on the back burner. Having said that we are fortunate that thus far our Senegal project is not one of them and a large company has seen fit to invest in it (WPL) and seems keen to proceed to development. There will be others. I agree though that COP leaving is a blow to the "vibe" around how good/big Senegal is and that tempers my expectations for FAR.
