If you read my postings, MM, you will notice that I do not hold any rigid view but only referred to a study and its results that have been proclaimed worldwide.
As for alcohol, that is already approved for recreational use, and is so used. The numbers of mental health issues from alcohol use would therefore be much higher (as you point out) than from the use of a controlled substance such as cannabis. If cannabis is approved for recreational use, will mental health issues not increase with the scale of use, similar to that of alcohol use ?
