Centres of excellence? Isn't that term just corporate spin from the company PR machine? At the end of the day this is a down-sizing program, designed to cut costs, shed staff and balance the books. The co is trading scale for survivability. What emerges will be a different animal. Smaller, leaner and less aggressive in its ambitions.
