my broker had a long lunch and did not put on all the rather substantial buy order at 81 cents just before 2pm.

I did not chase it after that-yes I know, but my investment team would not let me chase it.

For the past hour have berated them and said broker who now has to buy me a long lunch tomorrow to make up for it.

We are not active traders,more investors, and it takes some pushing for a quick response. Only traded a couple of times this year (inc HDR), so am miffed.

But appreciate your comments and abuman who pointed it out to me late yesterday.

It got management ticks big time (look at the MDs background), they as a company were hanging out for approval of this particular tenement, geophysics first rate, a well thought out programme, no pumping associated with first drill hole gave them credibility, the pictures of the core allowed us to make an educated guess as to grade which given the nature of the formations they are chasing gives you a very warm feeling down the inside of the trouser leg, and more holes down the structural trend at big spacing.......yes I really did have a good look.

Will go home, take some allergy tablets and kick the bejeezus out of wife's mongrel tabby!LOL

Will look for any weakness over coming weeks to see if I can get a decent position. The risks are obviously still there, but you are playing for serious returns if the throw of the dice is favourable.
