Voluntary Administration seemed like a live possibility back then. It was a scary time. Those that held will remember. It was the worst case outcome but thankfully it hasn't happened.
Keep in mind though Pig, lots of folks (including yourself) were framing this story as something that would result in a 'binary outcome' - either the co would collapse under the weight of its own debt, or if this didn't happen, it would experience a magnificent re-rate and emerge from its ashes anew.
Well, neither of these things has happened. Not the worst case outcome nor the best. Your theory about the binary outcome was wrong. Instead, the company continues to struggle, weak and greatly diminished. Is this new normal? The 3rd path you never expected?
