The media tried the "lone wolf" line but then they realised that the plebs could work out that they all came from the same kennel. So now it is the mental illness defence and to do your best to hide his heritage with his new found European country.
The Nice terrorist was portrayed as a bit of a lunatic acting alone. That "propaganda" came out pretty quickly while the subsequent arrests of others negates the whole "lunatic acting alone" rhetoric that the media fed the public.
Then we had David from Germany who was inspired by the right-wing lunatic from Norway. Not that he was Iranian who had a Afghan friend who was being questioned by police.
There is obviously a pattern here to media reports and it looks like they have found their angle by saying "the attacker has no links to Isis" to sweep it all under the carpet in an attempt to fool the public.
