I thought skippen and Grech said at HY they were staying at the helm 'for the good of the company' to see it through negotiations with the banks. but those negotiations have ended and they are still there. I believe this is primarily due to no mechanisms being in place anymore for shareholder activism. previously the big institutional shareholders would have forced their hands. but they all disappeared from the share registry long ago. It's just retail shareholders these days, and they don't have the ability to coordinate their views and organize their voting power
