Being free carried OEL would obviously want to drill it sooner than later . They have nothing to gain by waiting another year and its probably the reason they have taken the action they have in so far as trying to remove SWE from being operator to ensure Kito gets drilled in coming months. Again if Swalas troubles and associated legal actions arent going to allow a earlier drilling date then the consortium should be given an extention because it can only be Tanzanian Authorities standing in the way by not promptly removing SWE from the operatorship imo.
U also have to question why SWE would fight to hold the operatorship as it doesnt hold any financial advantages, in fact usually the opposite because common practice is for the operator to outlay funds first and bill back the partners later.
