I agree that the royalty is worthless unless they are pulling something out of the ground and you would be pretty dirty if you had given an SAA over your land to SMM and then seen it just sit there. You would feel it was a huge waste of time and resources.

I was just pointing out that some people confuse the 20% and think that AVQ is offering 10 x the deal that other Mining companies are. And that is not true. They aren't offering a 20% royalty.

The 20% equity is a new model that gives the landowners an ownership interest rather than a royalty. They will get more of a say, have a representative on the Board etc etc. but in $ terms they will probably be pretty much the same I would think. But lots more say and control.
