I don't know if you can be happy about today Wolfjoint, however, these daily short term fluctuations don't bother me if I know that I am invested in a good company with sound fundamentals. My holdings have survived many a severe dip, I've bought those dips as many good investors tend to do, held for the long term, and I have never looked back. It's inevitable that the GXY SP will have its swings just like any other share- it can't be blue sky mine everyday!
Day/ short term traders/ shorters can and do get burn't if they get their trading strategies wrong. We don't always know when those price sensitive announcements will be released or how the market will react to them.
Did you say you had 2 million shares? If I held this many GXY shares, I would be veeerrry happy holding for the long term.
