I've already confessed I think it likely that just as we are embedded in some dark energy matrix incorporating space-time with mass bending said matrix called gravity thus holding the fabric of the universe together in a centripetal dance, I also think we may be embedded in a complete consciousness.
Now if Mt G wants to call it Jehovah and others God, so be it. If this consciousness then wishes to impress understanding upon us the process can be called the Holy Spirit as far as I am concerned.
That's what I was nodding to. Of course I haven't got a clue, but maybe, who knows?
