what would you do with this 60k What would you do to invest this money ?
No property investment
No direct shares investment
A oldie neighbour of my just got AUD$60,000.00 from work and asked me where would be the best place to invest it in without have to be monitoring it constantly.He wants capital growth and a medium to long term investment.
He doesn't want to invest in property. Also not in directly shares because he doesn't trust it and thinks he will lose money but, he said he would be happy in putting some on one or two of the following :
-Term Deposit
- Debentures
- Managed Funds
- Superannuation
Well, I've had a quick look at BankWest Direct for Term Deposit and GR Finance for Debentures but still don't know what is better for him...I've also told him to consult a financial adviser ....
Can anyone give your thoughts on this one ?
