Hi All. I think I know the answer to this question but I will ask nonetheless. I'm bullish on AVL and see immense potential - I have done a fair amount of confirmatory research so I'm not taking a stab in the dark on AVL. Are AVL heads still good value at current price of 2.6c? My current average price is 1.5c. Is there a reasonable expectation of a retrace in the coming weeks in which case I will wait to add further or is the 1.5c to 2c price range a thing of the past? All opinions welcome.
My intention is to hold for the long term so would options be preferable to heads for this purchase (I do intend to top up if performance confirms)? For the options, could someone confirm this calculation to be correct:
AVLO price - 1.6c
AVLO exercise price - 2c
So AVL share price needs to be greater than 3.6c for profit to be made at expiry
If expiry date is 31-Dec-2018, do I have to exercise the options before this date (obvious question I suppose) and if so, how long does the exercise process take? I don't want to leave it too late. Between now and expiry date, can I exercise at any time?
Apologies if these are dumb questions - no experience to date with options.
