I agree that this is a very terse, low information announcement. Therefore I conclude that it is not intended for PR or to move the share price, rather it is necessary as part of the continuous disclosure obligation.

Thus if it is necessary as part of continuous disclosure, but really says not much, my questions are "what is it hiding under the covers that will only become apparent later?" and "Why now?"

My conspiracy theory is that some positive results or outcomes from the study are likely to be released soon, and will be market sensitive. This announcement is to preempt any question as to why the study was not advised earlier.
