re: free money I agree with the stigma of an overhang.
But
If the story is robust and a hardy investor decided to take a hold, a puny little number of shares such as the overhang left would be an afterthought.
If the Management team new so many shares had to come out, and the project is as good as they say, it should have been easy to replace one large investor with another.
Anyway onwards and upwards I pray
