re: chinese zinc deposits part ii jharmann one last thing...

From my earlier post it stated...'China produced 1.73 million tonnes of refined zinc in the first seven months, up 13.7 percent from a year earlier.'

I calculated that they are tracking to produce about 3,000,000 tonnes for the year...(1.73/7*12)...which is still a shortfall of 300,000 tonnes if consumption increased by 10% from 3,000,000 in 2005.

So heading into 2006, just to confirm again they still need to find NEW production of something like 450,000 tonnes...just to meet consumption...that's huge...that is what the ZFX's, TZN, and KZL's...have to find in new production every year for the next five years almost...
