If the explanation for this latest announcement relates to, as yet unfinalised, contractually signficant information, then no - they are announcing what they must to meet their continuous disclosure requirements without jeopardising their main goal.
If people choose to leave as a result it really only negatively impacts short term holders/traders.
If, on the balance of the remaining information available, you believe their is still upside in Xped there is no reason to sell in panic, rather an opportunity to average down your buy price/increase your holding.
