Hey guys, loving the look of Qbiotics at the moment. Have ordered some more in the recent cap raising at 40c. Even toying with the idea of grabbing a few more to tuck away. Liquidity is an issue though being unlisted but I feel this is where the biggest opportunity lies getting in pre-IPO, especially with the new chairman (Rick)
In Humans, we're up to the 10th cohort of patients PC.. Video here from 7 News http://axstra.com.au/ This was the lady that had complete tumour destruction! (melanoma)
Here is an e-mail I sent a family member the other day after attending the presentation to sum it up.
As you know, I went to the presentation last night. All very positive as usual and haven't felt better about this thing.
- Rick Holliday-Smith - ASX, Cochlear and Servcorp.. Big wig. Being paid in 80c options. He doesn't make a cent until the share price is over 80c. Shows a lot of confidence and apparently claims Qbiotics could be a Cochlear one day.
- Expecting full cap raising to be taken up by existing shareholders, who get priority.
- Was a segment on Ch 7 News last night with the lady that had a full response in Melanoma under her arm. (I have not seen yet - but there's a link to where it should show up in the e-mail from Qbiotics)
- Looks like IPO is 18-24 months away, and they should have some income by then in veterinary space.
- EBC-46 and WH-1 are different compounds, so production of one does not eat into production of the other.
- The way Victoria explained WH-1 was interesting - as we know there is nothing else out there like it. But as an example - the de-gloving (the skin is missing) of the horse that she treated, grew back it's normal coloured hair where the wound was. She said horses will normally grow back grey hair over their wounds and that this was really interesting about the drug in that it repairs the area and doesn't just stimulate healing. The only other thing she could really compare it to was Manuka Honey, which she said doesn't really compare.
- Also this deal with the US military for WH-1 could be a bonanza, apparently the US military wanted a drug approved once and it was done so in 24 hours. The FDA is notorious for sitting on applications for years. They should have a better idea in a couple months regarding the US military.
- In all this WH-1 is their focus with this cap raising, and the market looks huge with no competitors.
Also, Victoria was meant to appear on Sunrise Tuesday Morning. They've been pumping the media a bit more to aid with recruitment for human trials.. Not sure what happened here, but Tuesday morning was an Olympic special on Sunrise and no Victoria. Perhaps it's been rescheduled?
