yep, i do admit rooney has achieved a lot at such a young age but, as far as england is concerned, i put it more down to england's ongoing problems up front rather than his outstanding abilities...

put him up against other 17 yr olds from around the world say in a world youth cup tournament, and i'd bet my last dollar there'd be helluva lot of players who'd outclass him as all-round soccer players... however, in a team like everton and with the attack they currently have, he's a class act... i suppose its all relative...
