Your shares (whether you hate them right now or not) are your asset. If you sell them you lose the actual money and the asset. If you keep them you have a paper value loss (unrealized) but you still have an asset which will positively or negatively effect your paper value in the future. The question you have to ask yourself is whether losing the money is going to improve the quality of your sleep

Nobody here can tell you that. I can tell you that I lost 30k a couple of years ago on a tanking spec and when I sold I felt a huge weight off my shoulders because I'd been worrying about it day and night. And it made me feel better when the share price continued to fall to the point where I gave myself a pat on the back at how lucky I was. Today, had I held on, those shares would be worth 120k more than what I bought them for. I don't kick myself about it but I learnt that when things really look bad sometimes it's better to look away for a while.

I wish you all the best with your decision and I would suggest you look through this thread and put on ignore anybody with a negative sentiment that's not backed up with some intelligent information regarding your investment.
