    Yes, exactly. I have a good friend, very dear, but I disagree with his work ethic, so I do not discuss it. (when with him) He works as a fitter on various mine projects.
    -He defines a good week, as a week where he doesn't open his toolbox;
    -Laughs about the time last year, in NT somewhere, he has a leaking steam pipe to fix, 2m in the air.
    He ordered scaffolds, put up by licensed scaffolders, had to drive 600klm to get to him (paid to travel too)
    He sat on his toolbox for three days watching the leak, then the scaffolders arrived; he nipped up the pipe, then went back to sitting on his toolbox.
    =He prefers big jobs, with hundreds of tradies, so it is easier to hide;
    and so on.
    And, he says he is typical of the workforce.
    He hates casual, too, he says because you have to work; as soon as put on permanent, back to 20 minute hand washes before smoko, etc
    No wonder the mines are turning to Contractors, who charge for the Job, then move on.
    Casual again.
