Thanks for your input guys. The main problem I have with the partly paid shares is they become somewhat less effective when the current share price (fully paid shares) falls below the face value of the PP shares. The risk of forfeiture becomes very relevent when shareholders (who were allotted the PP shares involuntarily) can purchase an ord share for less than the face value of the PP share. The ord share is much cheaper at today's price.
Therefore, how much of the $30M additional capital is actually just phantom comfort for holders hoping the current price of ord shares forgets this risk?
