No, 50 cent buy price, 10 cent conversion when the price is $1.00 but then the capital gains resets, starts at that date.
Then sell below $1.00 the price the shares were issued for and its a loss, even though its in effect a 40% gain.
Not sure if it worked like that but it would be great if it did!!!
I fail to see how if the date is started again how the price of the share isnt taken into consideration??
