Don’t be silly speaking of other people in the terms you do, after all everyone other than the descendants of the original indigenous population migrated here from other countries starting with the first fleet. We have a population that descended from countries right around the world and Asians including Indians and Chinese have been migrating here along with Europeans and others, for yonks. Many of their descendants will now be second and third generation Australians and you dare to speak of their forebears as if they are rubbish.
I recall when my parents bought a second home some 50 years ago they rented their original home to a newly arrived migrant Indian family. Hard working decent people who never defaulted on the rent and whose children and grandchildren subsequently have done Australia proud.
I too have some reservations about the 457 visa system in terms of abuse by employers but blame the employers and the govt’s responsible for that instead of disparaging the people that are allowed here and the countries they come from.
The Australians here include people directly from or descended from, British, Irish, Italian, Chinese, Greek,Yugoslav,Vietnamese,Polish, Germans, Spanish, Latvians, South Africa, Afghanistan, and that is just a sample as there are migrants also from many other countries around the globe and they are Australian citizens who collectively represent the Australian population.
