NK's nuke test was a dud by any measurement.
The explosion was tiny and the only indication it was nuclear, apart from them saying so, has been a tiny increase in radioactivity in the air there and that could have other origins. The US now says it was a tiny nuke but that conclusion is probably more politics than science.

If they stage a second test and get it right this time they may convince me that they really can set off a nuclear explosion, and even if they can well whoopee do da as we should just tell Kim where he can shove the next one and certainly not reward him with ransom aid money.
