re: vs alk-no competition/mnut Domum,
I think you have made a wise move. I was in AVL for a short while but was very nervous about it. I think this may be how many investors feel, especially in the current client of world instability and so on.
Many of the advocates of AVL thought the price would rise substantially when Stage 1 was being built, then when it was commissioned, then when first production results were out and so on. Now attention has moved to Stage 2. Stage 2 may well prove the sweetener but I am sure many investors will be waiting for production results (especially in light of the poor profit results of stage 1 thus far) before diving in. If so, then there is plenty of time to get set in AVL, and in the meantime, money can be put to better use elsewhere.
You have hit the spot with sentiment. A stock can be very under-valued fundamentally but when sentiment is down, there is nothing you can do about it. The market makes the price, and isnt that something I've learnt only too well.
Cheers
