re: principles and upside or maybe it makes sense for the management to keep the share price low for a while to make it more sexy for a predator??
That way a bid could give people like Mr Ryan a good profit while selling the company cheaply...and make big profits all round...
It doesn't matter how rich you are......but ask yourself this....
Would you really take a 100mn share stake in a company like GCR unless you were fairly sure you had an exit lined up witout too much risk??
This is the only reason I have bought.....if they announce some big results I will take that as a bonus.
I have only bought 50k shares so I am not a big holder but I see this as a speculative punt and not really an investment.
I do not entirely trust the management of GCR which is why I could see them selling out.
