Ann: Response to ASX Price Query-XPE.AX, page-330

Further to my earlier 2 postings in this  thread, the question posed to the Company for Question 1 is as follows:-

Note the highlighted sections:-

"Is the Entity aware of any information concerning it that has not been announced to the market which, if known by some in the market, could explain the recent trading in its securities? ("xx")

In responding to this question, please consider in particular whether the Entity is aware of any information that its earnings for the 6 month period ended on 30 June 2016:

a) are likely to differ materially (downwards or upwards) from any earnings guidance it has given for the period; or
b) are likely to differ materially (downwards or upwards) from its earnings for the prior corresponding period? ("xxx")

Company's reply to ASX query:-

"As previously announced, the Company has entered a collaboration and marketing
agreement with Telink Semiconductor (Shanghai) Co. Ltd (Telink) and subsequently a licensing agreement with Telink (see ASX announcements of 5 May 2016 and 4 July 2016). Further to the entry of those agreements, the Company and Telink have been exploring what other opportunities there may be between the companies moving forward."

IMO (This is for the first part of the question marked "xx" by me above. This "what other opportunities" has not been announced by the Company to the public).


"No further agreements have been entered by the parties to date, however, the parties are continuing their discussions as to potential future opportunities. The Company will update the market as required if and when any progress is made in relation to those discussions, however, those discussions are uncertain and there can be no assurance that there will be any further arrangements or agreements entered with Telink."

IMO (This is for the question marked "xxx" by me above. To justify the question on earnings).


IMO The Company's announcement for ASX query today clarified the questions (which is normal) posed by ASX. The Company has added the following paragraph which I interpret as everything that has been announced previously remained unchanged.

"The Company is not otherwise aware of any information concerning it that has not been announced which, if known, could be an explanation for recent trading in the securities of the Company."
