Absolutely correct, Juicer. The old A2 Corporation made some big mistakes in its early days, more than a decade ago, and one was its flawed global business model which involved handing control of its IP and marketing strategy to licensees in various countries. It then found itself having to unwind its licensing agreements in countries such as the US, Korea and Singapore, and re-launching under a new name and global strategy which keeps firm control of its IPand marketing while outsourcing production. That was a major turning point for the company.

Hokey is fond of saying the original US venture "failed" and implying it is therefore destined to fail again. It didn't really fail, and in fact the remnants of that operation are proving useful as a springboard today. The company has re-established contact with farmers who began converting to A2 milk production at that time, and a lot of consumers still remember the benefits of A2. The US is a huge market and won't be easy to "crack" in its entirety but California is a very big market on its own. Signing up a processor in California recently has been a positive step.. The small amount of capital being sunk into this venture is hardly a major burden, so I think Hokey can relax.
