Yes molonski, I'm sure you know what is best for everyone, even if they do not. I'm sure that you would create a phenomenally efficient society, but what else would it be? As fringedweller pointed out, apply the efficiency principle to poultry and you get battery hens: So it comes down to what purpose you see for humanity, and how large, high density populations further that purpose.
Some are even concerned about the lives of chickens.
