I have looked into 1980/90's recession, the only similarity is rising/high equity prices on record bank borrowing made easy via cheap interest rate... After a while most Austrians & Austrian businesses where mortgaged up-to their eye balls.. Once interest rates started climbing due to high inflation needing curbing, the house of card's came crashing down..
Is that about right ? If so, then it's nothing like what is going on now
