yes....I agree 1000% that it all takes soooo long....but do you remember that article I posted here? the interview with a Lady scientist who actually was on a team which discovered HIV way back in 80s?..She knows HIV inside out....and she said there will never be a cure for HIV because of the nature of that virus...and because it "hides" everywhere in a body.....every cell, nook and tissue....when I read it at the time it actually depressed me (on behalf of infected ppl out there)...so, it is all about prolonging lives and giving those lives better quality...BIT225 sounds like it could do just that...

I think, gene silencing technology is all good but more suited for cancers or some genetic inherited illnesses.....I am not at all convinced that would work for viral diseases...they did find the cures for HCV, and good once....but I believe HCV/HIV, in a way, they are completely different sets of diseases....not the same at all.....and then come mutation and drug resistance...I remember with TB - it was all over Europe especially after WW2....in Poland they isolated ppl in sanatoriums for months and even years....and they cleaned it all out with help from new drugs which came later on ...but now TB kills again and there is nothing for it because of mutations...They have it in PNG and it is spreading in NT and QLD....there was an article couple years back about some poor Japanese student catching it in NT...
anyway...I like Michelle but She better starts delivering....ppl are getting very impatient ...you have a sample of that impatience in here.....
