    So the argument would be that because they bought upstream there's been no change of control or other relevant trigger to the PE. There is zero chance of forming a view on that without seeing the docs and the definitions and obviously that's impossible.

    What we're seeing now is just the dance. Some posturing. Some showboating. Soon a little bit of trash talking (although the mock surprise is the corporate equivalent of the trash talk - he's implying FAR is stupid which is somewhat uncool but also characteristic). There is a brittleness showing and the fact that they even bothered going to print is illustrative of that. This is not the type of thing to be prosecuted by media.

    As for the financial capacity, I think he's soon in for a very rude shock on that front when Cath opens her wallet and shows them a glimpse. If my wild guess re their likely partnering is correct then it will make the oil and gas community sit up.

    I remain very comfortable that this will be amicably resolved and that we will have a happy ending. Who knows. Maybe even a double happiness.

    I can't believe how cheap it is at the moment. Anyone on here remember the 17 cents (or whatever it was) pre-Kora ie before they had even a sniff of anything resembling hydrocarbon, let alone the mammoth that we now....?
