I think I am getting the hang of this index trading thing. Trends do not continue for very long. As soon as you say 'Ah, it is now trending downwards' and get up and make a coffe, by the time you come back, the screen is all green and your trend is completely gone. You have to look at a 3 minute chart as it is a weekly chart and take profits as soon as possible, be it 10, 20 points. The only problem with this is that you have to make a lot of trades in a day.
