morning,
probably agree with that.
the trick is to be in early on these ones - easy to say - not so easy to do unless one really spends a lot of time and effort at the early stages.
People who bought fmg early when they could see infrastructure going ahead did very very well - but, they had to hold on very tight- and, of course - in a resource company - well, you have to really know when to jump off.
Different in industrials - but, there are a lot of similarities. What is clear is that early entrants have a box seat and can afford to sit tight with less emotion - the emotion that comes from riding the waves later - is clearly harder for later entrants.
But, that does not change the future of the business and the end game - it is just harder to stay focused.
Does this have anything to do with the current times? Yep ------------- look at the volume over the months --------- that clearly tells us the story.
It tells us a. that there are a large portion of the register stuck like glue - but, from that - one can glean that there just isn't much stock for sale - that's why one has to make the sell side look heavy if one is to scare the chooks.
Personally - I probably agree with cracker ("I hope I'm wrong, but I'd be very surprised if they allow it to go anywhere.") ---- I also can't see the bots letting this go yet ---- and, my reasoning is that the more good news out - the harder they will fight - because we just keep getting confirmation - they will let go when it is not possible to pull the wool anymore - when even the blind can see - you give up and go with the tide.
That the company is only 1 month out from the end of this quarter and 4 months out from the end of the cal year - and they are still stating with conviction that they are on track for 18.5 says they are either gutsy as hell and don't have the runs - or they are confident of making it - they also could be digging their heels in or just plain stubborn - but, whichever way it is - they wouldn't possibly be silly enough to be miles away from this and still be whipping the horse.
My take is that they know what they need this quarter and next quarter - and, they think they have it.
To me - personally - and, my partner - if they get anywhere near that mark - this has been an astounding year for the company and heralds a huge penetration into big markets with new technologies ------- the figure exactly and precisely means nothing in itself more than - a hit of the target or a miss - what really matters for the business is if they even get close - if they do that ---------- well - what an amazing result.
All my opinion - of course it is ------------- who else's would it be?
