Maybe. The funny thing about this MIN/EGO thing, is that MIN currently has a market cap twice its NTA, yet EGO has a market cap roughly half its NTA. Surely, in MIN's eyes, that makes EGO an absolute bargain.
As for Ellison - I think his house is worth more than our little company here!....
