Billybongo; despite the massive damage done by the Liberal Party to public education in Australia, my schools served their communities exceptionally well. I'm especially proud of the difference they made to the lives of Aboriginal kids and of the manner in which they worked so well with Aboriginal communities.
In stark contrast, the dreadful impact of Tony Abbott's self-serving media stunt driven hair-brained approach to education is sadly still playing out as indigenous people react against the appalling approach imposed on their kids.
As for the Liberal Party's 'INTERVENTION' into Aboriginal communities, the funding cuts they promised would never happen, the brazen termination of Aboriginal organisations, the broken referendum PROMISE and the slur Abbott cast over remote indigenous communities; why should anyone forget such atrocities?
