That aside - $139mil on advertising?
I'm the first person to agree advertising is a necessary evil - but surely that kind of dosh makes no sense while while SGH is in this financial black-hole. Seems like an act of desperation to me. I guess the olympic thing would have cost plenty - but that was only 2 weeks-worth of advertising.
I wonder if it made any real difference.
Anyway, this is just splitting hairs.
It's done, so move on.
Anyway what SGH gets up to is of no concern to anyone but it's management - it's only the results that matter.
