most of these funds came about through running a business that I am now tired of running for 19yrs and the sale of the buildings and land on a lease back - most of this money is actually what we are using to purchase our house when settlement is due at end of "17. So there's some courage of conviction for you. I would always rather have tried than look back and wondered. I hate those people that I call "Gunna" people....just bloody go and do it!

one of many things I have learnt from reading many forum's on HC from many fabulous posters is that the advise given by professionals of spreading your risk around and buying 20 different companies, IMO, is completely wrong and is the pathway to very very average returns. Research the company, believe in the story, jump in, then wait....It's bloody hard to be patient in a want now society and I have to keep reminding myself of that. I had to wait 48yrs before I could afford to buy a performance V8 (Chrysler SRT) and absolutely love it (banned from accelerating hard when wife is in the car! yet she managed to get it sideways when she was driving the other day!) so I can wait some months for ede to shine. anyway rant finished, off running now, training for my 6th Melb marathon then work this aternoon...in between jumping back online to see what our beloved concrete additive is up too
