Yes I recall one of those skype hookups, it was barely workable. But it led to those HC meetings Rob ended up organising. They were really good I thought.
Interesting to hear your view on rule based trading - I'm more persuaded by that approach than ever. I know there are excellent instinctual traders out there - I also know I will just never be one of them - I just don't have whatever it is that generates that gut feel (other than indigestion when a trade goes wrong). Rule based trading I guess suits my technical orientation and career R&D & operational disciplines - try to boil it all down to processes & procedures based on binary rules with no wiggle room & then follow those rules. I would like to think its based on hard work that "gut feel" traders don't appear to apply, but I would be wrong - I know that "gut feel" would be based on thousands of hours of watching charts on screens. No one way is wrong - whatever works best for each of us is my conclusion.
