Why would you have to live apart ?

Many here think that Marriage is only about procreation . This is the line of argument I was trying to raise.

And if it was only about procreation then when that stops , why are you still married when you past your child bearing years ?

It obviously is not only about procreation anymore . It is about more than that .

So lets agree that marriage is about more than procreation and that SSM couples want to have recognition in the bit that is more than procreation.
