i trade cfd's with IG, i cant see why it is hugely different to using a normal broker - obviously you need to be carefull and not go overboard with position sizing, but they garentee market prices, and the comissions are very low (eg, 10$ to open a 10k position in BHP + ~ 2$ interest per day), and you also have the options of GSLO, which means you can protect yourself from gaps / whatever regardess of market movements.
