Thanks D. Very interesting. I note the big jump in holdings for EVN on Friday past. Obviously taking up their share of the CR.
There hasn't been any unusual/extraordinary jump in declared shorting either. I wonder if the carry trade is departing? Maybe pre-empting the fall in the AUD and rise in USD???
However, with shorting it is not so much the declared shorts being the issue as it is the market makers with their naked shorts that fark with with SP. Market makers are legally allowed to naked short so long as they are covered within T+2. Those damn investment bankers of Esh..... although not all market makers are investment bankers..... so it is actually worse than what Esh posted earlier today regarding the question of who are "they"!!!
