Seems like micro bleeds will do fine as a medical term, or microhemorrhages is also correct. This is from an Alzforum discussion on rebranding micro bleeds and swelling as ARIA in 2011.
"At AAIC, Sally Schroeter and Wagner Zago, two researchers at Janssen Alzheimer Immunotherapy, presented a poster suggesting that bapineuzumab treatment causes blood vessels to become leaky due to the movement of amyloid-β from plaques in the brain into and then out of blood vessel walls."
Where I come from when a blood vessel leaks through the blood vessel wall, it is called bleeding.
Both drugs are going after AD and results should be compared, like PBT2 does not cause microhemorrhages is a good comparison to start with. PBT MOA is much more complex and unlike aducanumab does not directly attack AB.
As I recall ELN discontinued the highest dose of Bapi due to brain microhemorrhages, but maybe that was a mistake.
