The thought of a world administered from Washington, with US values and US objectives, is truly disgusting.
What is more, for many years the US has interfered in many parts of the world in many ways, with the objective of keeping the US on top. The effect of this has been to restrict the development of the entire world economy, to the eventual detriment of the US and creating the need for pie in the sky weapons schemes like Star Wars - to "protect freedom".
US freedom that is, to manipulate the resources and peoples of the rest of the world for their benefit.
