Im starting to think Rin will have a higher offer made at around the $18.50/ $19 mark. At this price it could persuade the larger shareholders. If they dont sell then there is no deal and they arent going to sell at $17 . If cemex really wants Rin then they will make a higher offer. so it comes down to whether the lrger shareholders will sell at a higher offer? No idea and mostly it would depend on the US data either showing a soft landing in the house sector or not and whether business cnstruction is taking up the slack - if so then shareholders still may not sell due to upside in Rin US operations and if US is slowing significantly then a $19 bid would prob clinch the deal.
    Any thoughts
    Cheers
